been a little bit.

Haven't done much. Working and more Working.

Took a brief vacation to San Antonio, Texas. Bro graduated airforce basic training and is currently in tech school. I bawled like a baby during the whole graduation. Lots of eating and some touristing occurred.

I was an absolute wreck on the airplane too. I have actually been on planes before but when I was super young..and before..hijackings..and shiznit..

the first flight, I broke out into literal welts from anxiety. And then the second flight was much easier..so was the flight back..until we flew into a storm and the plane started making titanic-esque-squeel-noises..and then I just about jumped out of my seat again. I am a terrible plane passenger.

now I'm working again. Moms having surgery on wednesday..decided Oakridge is obviously causing her ailments with left over nuclear radiation and all. She's had a frozen shoulder surgery, her thyroid removed and now a hysterectomy in a super short time.

I've been a nurse for officially a year in December..will have been a year at my place of work on April1st and Im charge nurse and the senior employee on my shift and I've trained new nurses and now have a nursing student preceptoring under me...idk how this all happened because I am totally inexperienced. Trying to get my scheduled changed to 12 hour shifts 3x week so I can possibly go back to school and get more sleep time. I work practically every day and am always exhausted.

Me bro left for Air Force basic training this morning. See you in a couple months. Don't shoot yourself on accident and remember to throw the grenade and do exactly what the yelly-people tell you to do. Come back with muscles and even a couple babymamas if thats what it takes. Please don't flunk out of tech school unless its to get a safer job on your second try. And mostly don't volunteer for anything.

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas..see you when you come back but only after you make it through basic.

WTH was that?

I expected Connor's story to inevitably be tragic..but wtf..that's all you give me for Desmond?

like..I'm not satisfied.

I need a wrap up, a complete ending for Desmond.

Now I'm just really depressed.

for spoilersCollapse )

Since the last time I updated (Monday) I have still been sick. Not with the flu though, that test came back negative (go me! and I didn't even take the flu shot yet!)

Instead I've got like a really bad case of Acute Bronchitis or a lamer Pneumonia. The last time I was this sick (well I was sicker) was when I did have Pneumonia 10 years ago. So far I have pulled every muscle in my abdomen, back and neck from excessive coughing. I'm super short of breath doing mundane things (like walking upstairs or to my car) and I can't expand my lungs all the way..not for the sake of not trying though..I breath in so deep and then get sent into a violent coughing fit. I'm also hacking up nasty tasting gunk but I can't spit it out!

Also have a persistent low grade fever, a full body rash the past 2 days and this morning was actually the first morning I woke up and was not drenched in sweat and then suffer from on/off hot/cold spells.

oh the short girly back hairs and occasionally my arm hairs will hurt as well.

In short I think I'm on the getting-better-finally side..but I couldn't get in to see my primary doctor (Doctor Rip Studwell) so I went to the minute clinic up the road and got me a different antibiotic (maybe I'm just allergic to penicillins hence the rash?) and some prednisone to treat it like it is pneumonia. I had to call in sick today and Friday...like I'm not going to get a paycheck at all for this week (unless my sick leave kicks in) hopefully I'll be healthy by monday.

on the bright side, I have been having uninterrupted Assassins Creed 3 time. Oh and I got a new computer desk and I'm decorating the shiznit out of it incredibly slowly...like I can now get rid of alot of this other broken furniture I own....I do need to get a bedside table and I'd like to get a filing cabinet (fancy right?)

Also my sister removed the wallpaper in the living room. If I could breath it super inspired me to remove the ugly wallpaper in my bathroom and paint it hot pink. By the time my lungs work again I'll be too lazy to accomplish such a feet.

Well, guess I have tonsillitis. I feel weird calling it that because I suggested it to the doctor and he said "sounds good" so I feel like I didn't get the official diagnosis in an official response.

yeah, so Ive had this sensation in the back of my throat like I've had a popcorn kernel stuck on the back of my tongue for several days.

yesterday I finally looked and discovered a canal in my throat I didn't even know existed and puss was coming out of it. Its not painful and I have not been sick, I've just had that annoying sensation on the back of my tongue.

so yeah, after poking around back there and making my tonsils pop like a zit and thoroughly grossing myself out, I got out of work early and went to the doctor today.

got some antibiotics so now Im poking at it for fun and now its getting sore lulz...its nasty as all get out but its pretty impressive the amount of puss thats hanging out back there in a place I didn't know I had.

and then this too
somebody wanted to propose to their girlfriend and asked for a picture of Jake proposing to Lady Rainicorn so I was nice and obliged. Though I've never really seen the show before. Good luck I guess.

I liked the olympic opening ceremonies. I almost teared up from patrioticness even though Im not british. Hey Jude at the end definitely would have gotten me had I been by myself.

Loved Kenneth Branagh. Kept making me think of

I did not like the part where they got to the digital age..I felt like things started to get mashed up all wrong.

Queen irritated me though. Seriously, would it have killed her to have smiled?

This was my other favorite part next to Rowan Atkinson. Look how excited those athletes are! thats why I love the olympics T_T it makes me love people!

I browse deviantart and get pissed off.
I browse fanart on tumblr and I laugh from a mixture of horror or sadness.
I open my photoshop and then cry because I can't do any better.

LOL >.

Sisterly love is when your sister cares enough about you that she peels the dead skin off your healing sunburn.

Also..our ladies gymnastics prospects......uhh...bye Nastia Liukin! and I miss Sean Johnson already 8(

can tell that all the pressure is going to be on Gabby Douglas and Jordyn Wieber. Im sure we'll medal in something but I don't think this is going to be a dream team :( I was very impressed with Gabby though.

need to look up the Canadian girls.

Im going to exploit my niece and start her on a brutal future Olympian exercise regimen so she can live out the gymnastic dream I never had.
